Introduction

• The Star Sports Build-A-Bet Predictor (“the Promotion”) is a free-to-play game based on one selected football fixture each round.
• Participants must predict outcomes across five Build-A-Bet markets for a chance to win a £100 Free Bet.
• By entering, players accept these Terms & Conditions.
• Eligibility to participate is at the sole discretion of Star Sports.

Eligibility

The Promotion is open to:

• UK & ROI residents.
• The promotion is available for active and existing customers with registered Star Sports accounts, aged 18 or over.

Exclusions

• Duplicate, linked, or fraudulent accounts.
• Accounts restricted from Star Sports promotions.
• Self-excluded customers or customers enrolled in nationwide gambling-prevention schemes
• Customers outside the UK & ROI.

How to Enter

• The Promotion is free to play.
• Entries must be submitted before the scheduled kick-off of the selected fixture.
• Players may change or edit their predictions as many times as they like until kick-off.
• The final prediction submitted before kick-off will be the official entry.
• Only one entry per customer is permitted per weekly round.

Prediction Requirements

• Each round includes one selected fixture.
• Players must submit predictions across the following five Build-A-Bet markets:

 

Match Betting

• Predict which team will win the match, or whether the match will end in a draw in 90 minutes.

Player To Score

• Select one player you predict will score a goal at any time during the match.
• Your player selection is final regardless of whether the player starts the game, enters as a substitute, or does not play at all. The chosen player remains the official player to score pick.

Player To Be Carded

• Select one player you predict will receive a yellow or red card at any time during the match.
• Bookings are counted as follows:
  • Yellow card = 1 booking 
  • Red card = 2 bookings
  • Yellow + yellow leading to red = 3 bookings
• Not counted:
  • Cards given to players who take no part in the match
  • Cards shown to players who take part in the match but receive a card while seated on the bench
  • Cards given to management or staff
  • Cards received after the half time or full time whistle
• Your player selection is final regardless of whether the player starts, enters as a substitute, or does not play at all. The chosen player remains the official player to be carded pick.

Total Goals U/O 3.5

• Predict whether the total number of goals in the match will be:
  • Over 3.5 (4 or more goals)
  • Under 3.5 (3 or fewer goals)

Total Cards U/O 3.5

• Predict whether the total number of cards in the match (yellow and red combined) will be:
  • Over 3.5 (4 or more cards)
  • Under 3.5 (3 or fewer cards)

 

• All outcomes are settled on 90 minutes result plus injury time only.
• Extra time and penalties do not count.

 

Points System

Points are awarded for each correct prediction as follows:

• Match Betting – 2 points
• Player to Score – 5 points
• Player to be Carded – 4 points
• Total Goals (U/O 3.5) – 2 points
• Total Cards (U/O 3.5) – 2 points

The customer / player with the highest total points at the end of 90 minutes plus injury time only is the winner. 

If multiple players finish on the same points total, the tiebreaker is used.

Tiebreaker

Players must also answer the tiebreaker question: "What will be the total number of corners in the match (at the end of 90 minutes plus injury time)?"

The player with the closest answer wins.

If still tied, Star Sports may:

• Award the prize to the earliest correct entry, or
• Share the prize at its discretion.

Prizes

Main Prize

• The weekly winner will receive a £100 Free Bet.
• The prize is credited by midday the following day.
• Star Sports may contact winners for verification if required.

 

0-0 Result Reward

If the match ends 0–0 (at the end of 90 minutes plus injury time), all players who entered that fixture receive a £2 Free Bet.

Free Bet - General T&Cs

• Star Sports may offer you a free promotional bet. Please refer to the promotion details for the qualification criteria.
• Free Bets may not be used in conjunction with any other current promotion.
• In the event of a customer opening more than one account to claim multiple offers we reserve the right to suspend/close duplicate accounts and void any bets placed.
• Usual Star Sports Betting Rules and Terms and Conditions apply, these can be viewed here.
• Star Sports reserve the right to withdraw or refuse any Free Bet promotion at any point.
• Free Bet stakes are not returned with winnings.
• Free Bet awards cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Free Bet awards can be used online or via telephone.
• The Free Bet must be used within the time frame specified on the promotion details and may not be either part used or carried forward.

Prize Substitution

If necessary (e.g. technical issues), Star Sports may substitute the prize with an equivalent alternative of equal or greater value.

Free Bet Rules

The £100 Free Bet and £2 Free Bet are subject to the following conditions:

• The Free Bet is valid for 7 days from crediting.
• Can be used on eligible Online Star Sports markets only.
• May be used in one bet or split into multiple bets.
• Returns are profit only and do not include the stake.
• Cannot be cashed out.
• Cannot be withdrawn as cash.
• Must be placed separately from real-cash bets.
• Unused Free Bets after expiry will be removed.

Postponed, Abandoned, or Voided Fixtures

If the match is postponed before kick-off, Star Sports may:

• Void the round and cancel entries.
• Carry entries over to the rearranged match.
• Select a new fixture.

If the match is abandoned after kick-off:

• If an official result is confirmed within 24 hours, this result will stand.
• Otherwise, Star Sports may void the round.

Results, Scoring & Leaderboards

• Results and points are calculated within 24 hours of full-time.
• Leaderboards will display ranking and points earned.
• Historical rounds can be viewed under My Results.
• All Star Sports results and scoring decisions are final.

Fair Play & Restrictions

Star Sports reserves the right to void entries, withhold prizes, or close accounts where:

• Duplicate accounts are used.
• Automated or syndicated entries occur.
• Collusion or manipulation is suspected.
• A breach of these Terms occurs.

Any technical faults, system errors, or failed entries are not the responsibility of Star Sports.

Site Conduct

You agree not to use any Username, Team Name, Profile Name, or other publicly visible content that contains language that is obscene, profane, vulgar, sexually explicit, hateful, or promotes illegal activity. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to enforce these standards. Violations of this policy will result in one or more of the following actions:

• Immediate change of the offending content to a generic name
• Temporary or permanent suspension of your account without notice.
• Termination (Ban) of your Star Sports Predictor account, resulting in the forfeiture of all associated points.

Marketing Communications

If you select the marketing communications opt-in, you consent to receiving emails from Star Sports Predictor Free-To-Play regarding upcoming games, results, and other related games. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or contacting us at cs@starsportsbet.co.uk.

General Terms

• Star Sports may suspend, amend, or cancel the Promotion at any time.
• Customers who have already qualified will retain any prizes earned prior to cancellation.
• Participation is governed by the Star Sports General Terms & Conditions.
